Shims remodeling company did a wonderful job. Top quality work, very professional and excellent customer service. Andre the owner is very detailed and was always willing to answer questions or give professional advice and suggestions.

I recently hired Shim's Remodeling to do some finish work in my newly renovated kitchen (framing, windows, new baseboards, plumbing work, building a platform for a stacked washer/dryer, etc.). During our first meeting to discuss the project, I informed Andre that I was more interested in quality workmanship than a cheap "hook-up" and he assured me that he is a professional contractor who takes his work seriously. And boy did he deliver!
I must say, Andre is an excellent, professional carpenter and the quality of his work exceeded my expectations. His price was reasonable, he kept to the set work schedule,a and he pateintly explained why something couldn't be done and offered his expert opinion and the best suggestions for a solution (LOVE the platform he built for my washer/dryer!).
This is my first time working with Andre Shaw and Shims Remodeling, and I would absolutely work with him again! From the beginning of the project to the very end he was professional, responsive and transparent which is very important when working with contractors. The project scope was well defined and was completed within the budget that was set.
He clearly explained what he recommended gets done, why, and how he would approach the work. We had some timing delays due to rain but he checked-in every couple of days with an updated ETA on when the next phase of work would be completed.
